Since Perot Systems occupied their current US headquarters facility in 1998, Brandt has been servicing their mechanical and plumbing needs.
In 2006, Brandt installed the mechanical and plumbing systems in a new data center. This installation included approximately one mile of under-ground chilled water piping from the central utilities plant to the new data center, under-floor chilled water and domestic water piping to serve 40 new computer room units. Additionally, in 2006, Brandt designed and installed the HVAC and electrical systems to service 34 campus-switching rooms. This project was the first design-build project Perot Systems has completed at their Plano facility.
Currently, Brandt is installing the mechanical and plumbing systems to serve another new data center that will include 50 new computer room units. This project includes expansion of the chilled water production system, including the installation of a new 1500-ton chiller with eight (8) new pumps.
