Dallas Independent School District
Booker T Washington High School is a Magnet School for Dallas Independent School District. We were selected as the electrical contractor by Thomas S. Byrnes General Contractor. This school focuses on the Arts and caters to the best and brightest Dallas students who have a gift in this area.
The project is located in the downtown Dallas Arts District. It is a new 180,000 square foot facility, and the renovation of a 1922 Historic Building located adjacent to the new structure. Brandt provided 2 years of cost consulting and value engineering prior to bidding and securing the project.
The project incorporates energy efficient lighting and controls for the classroom areas, and also includes studios, labs and a complete performing arts theater for student productions. This school is the crown jewel of the DISD.
