Completed in 2006, First United Methodist Church of Richardson's 170 foot Steeple will welcome parishioners to this 1270 seat solid wood beamed sanctuary. Brandt Electric will help bring to a worship service or any other function the grandeur of (22) custom chandeliers, a center light ring spectacle and a theatrical lighting experience all controlled by a state of the art dimming control system.
Other than the sanctuary, Brandt will provide a complete electrical power and lighting system to a 44,000 sq. ft. classroom building with a complete commercial kitchen facility and a 39,000 sq. ft. multi-function recreation building, which includes the basement located mechanical central plant infrastructure and main electrical distribution plant.
All these building facilities are surrounded by 230,000 sq. ft. of parking, landscape and exterior recreation areas. All of this contracted electrical work scope was made possible by the efforts of the Brandt pre-construction and design teams in working directly with the architects and engineers to VE and re-design the original construction documents in order to bring the project's electrical budgets down and not effect the autistics or functionality of the facilities electrical power and lighting systems.
