...a short note to commend you for the recent outstanding work performed by one of your associates. Ameritrade suffered a significant utility disruption due to accidental damage to our main electrical and natural gas lines......we were all very pleased to see that our backup electrical systems worked exactly as designed. Our UPS system responded in a seamless fashion and our generators ran flawlessly for over twelve hours. Mr. Berle C. of Brandt Engineering was kind enough to remain with us through the entire ordeal. His presence gave us confidence that the mechanical support would be on hand should an unusual situation arise. Brandt's support was important to us that night. Berle gave us a sense of confidence that we could handle this setback. We appreciate the Brandt partnership and the customer service that was exhibited.

I wanted to personally thank you and the Brandt Engineering team for the outstanding effort put forth as Behr's mechanical contractor for our new Texas Manufacturing Plant in Roanoke. Under tight deadlines and faced with some major technical challenges, the Brandt team performed superbly to complete the design-build project and help us move into a rapid start-up of our paint making facility. The onsite supervisors, Wade D. and Ray L., worked closely with our engineering team to resolve design issues and complete the project in a professional and timely matter. Their problem-solving abilities and can-do attitude were a major reason for the project's success. In addition, Brandt rapidly added headcount at the tail end of the project, while maintaining high quality workmanship. As a result of the team's hard work, including two shifts working seven days per week leading up to start-up, we met our target date and began making paint on February 13, 2006. Behr values its business partnership with suppliers and contractors especially those that put forth extraordinary efforts. We consider Brandt to be one of our partners and critical to this project's success. Again, thank you for your team's accomplishment.

Your team was key in many ways for the success of this project. They were extremely approachable in all aspects of the project from start to finish. Schedule issues were addressed with a pro active "can do" approach which led the way in managing a difficult construction schedule. All mechanical and plumbing activities were handled with great skill and professionalism. Your team led in keeping the job clean and presentable at all times. In addition, quality has never been sacrificed in achieving our goals and we can all be proud of the final product that we turn over to the Owner...we are very pleased with Brandt Engineering and grateful for ya'lls participation in this difficult, yet rewarding project. We look forward to working with Brandt Engineering in the future and hope that the journey was enjoyable for you and your team as well.

This letter is to inform you of the excellent work that Brandt Engineering has performed in the design build project for the removing the old Air Handling units and replacing them with new ones. Your quality of work consistently surpassed contract requirements and standards of good workmanship. Your superintendent and crews have gone out of the way to accommodate our work schedule. As you know, we are in the business of overhauling aircraft engines and our schedule does not permit work stoppages. Your personnel have been most understanding and accommodating by working after hour and on weekends. During this construction phase, we have requested that your company replace two additional Air Handlers due to emergencies. We appreciate the fact that you completed the work ahead of schedule and under budget. Additionally, we have been thoroughly impressed with your safety record. Due to your safety consciousness your safety record has been impeccable with no actual time accidents.

The efforts of your staff...has produced a very professional - high quality project. The key to the success of this project has been the open communication with these gentlemen and their willingness to learn the procedures that are required in a SBC Central Office to maintain Network Reliability. If they did not understand how a procedure was to be done, they asked questions first before any activity took place. This has given Beck and the owner a high comfort level that there would not be any problems during the fulfillment of the scope of work. Please accept this letter as our appreciation to the efforts of your on-site personnel.

First, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that this project was one of the most difficult projects I have ever attempted. The professional skills and "can do" spirit of you and your employees were key elements to its successful completion. The time element and cramped conditions involved, elevated the complexity of this project from very difficult to near unachievable. You and your team pulled through, got it done and left behind a stellar example of planning, engineering, and workmanship. It will serve the property ownership well for years to come. ... This is truly a job very, very well done indeed.
